I'm UTG with and raise to $10, MP calls, LP calls, blinds fold. MP is a maniac, playing every hand, calling raises with anything and everything, and pushing his whole stack in on any draw imaginable. He lost a buy-in within 10 minutes at the table, rebought, and had his stack over $300 before losing it all within the next hour. LP is new to the table but appears weak.

JT could be out there for the str8 draw, as well as somebody holding clubs.

Give them crappy odds to draw with a pot sized bet. Of course milk it a bit and delay when making your bet.

I bet almost every flop when I raise preflop. When I have a monster, Im betting for sure. You cant win a big pot unless you make the pot big. I think I should trademark that phrase.

If you check, not only is the pot not going to be big, but there are a number of cards that could hit that will make you wish you bet the flop.

I agree with Ice and Suhleaf wholeheartdly here. If you slow play the flop stays small and you're possibily giving a legit draw a free card.

Yeah, I bet out $25 and they both folded. I guess I had the worst case scenario running through my head... which was I bet, maniac calls, turn card is a bad one, I bet again, he comes over the top.
