Do you NOT lose your stack in either hand?

$2/4NL on Stars

First hand I get QQ in the BB. 3 limpers, SB completes, and I raise to $20. UTG+1 ($303) calls and MP ($380). I have them covered. Neither of them were very good and called too much.

Flop comes 444r. I lead out for $20 into $72 pot. UTG+1 minraises to $40. MP folds and I call.

Turn is a 3. I check. UTG+! bets $40. I raise to $100. He thinks for a while then goes all-in for $143 more. I called. He had KK and I lose.

I tried to trap him thinking he had a lower overpair, but do I still fold to the last raise after he makes it clear that he's not afraid of whatever I have? I obviously couldn't read him for KK since nobody semi-decent limp-calls with it with that many people left to act.

Second hand I was very angry about so I didn't even bother to get the h.h. I will do my best to pull it out from memory.

I have AK in MP. Guy before me with a big stack raises to $16. I call. Button calls and BB calls. Button is a regular (Miss Pretty) who generally plays passively. She's the villian in the hand and has me covered. I start the hand with $324.

Pot is $66. Flop comes [Qh][Js][Td]. Checked to me, and I bet $36. Button calls, everyone else folds.

Pot: $138. Turn is [4h]. Puts out a heart draw. I check. Button bets $80. I minraise to $160 with about $112 left after the raise. I probably should have gone allin here and knew it as soon as I minraised. She calls.

Pot: $458. River is [8h]. I go allin for last $112. She calls and beats me with [Jh][Th].

Is there any possible way for me to save the last $112 here? My thinking at the time was that she can't have a flush since it came backdoor and that she most likely had two pair of some sort and would pay me off. And if she had hearts then I was gonna call the last $112 anyway. Other than that how was my flop and turn play? CR allin on the turn is a better move, no?

Anyway, rough night. Dropped a good $800. Hadn't seen the ugly side of 2/4NL yet but it's showing up now and it ain't pretty. Called preflop raises like 15 times with low pocket pairs and didn't hit a single set. Had KK busted on a rag flop by a set. Those two above hands. Only thing that kept me from having a worse night was LOTS of small-med pots that I stole from weak-tight players.

Hand #1happened to me like 7 times in the past 2 weeks.
KK vs AA just like that 4 times
QQ vs AA just like that 3 times
By "just like that", I mean I raised and they just called with alot of people behind them. I didnt lose a stack because they players were bad and I smelled a rat, but I did lose like half a stack each time. Not much you can do.

Hand #2...Why didnt you just lead the turn? I dont understand the check raise. Why give someone a pair and a draw (KQ, KJ etc) a free card? And yes, if I checked, I wouldve check raised more although it wouldnt have made any difference here

Hand # 1 I would've lost my stack just like you lol.
Hand # 2 I would've lost my stack but I would've pushed all in leading out on the turn.
Different play, same results. Have a nice day :D
