What a F***ING MORON. Interpoker is no goddamn better than Party. If this happened live, I'd be calling someone to bail me out of jail, because he might have the $61 pot, but he'd also have a bill for about $8k in dental work.

On top of all this, at Interpoker's $25NL, what hands have I lost the most money with? QQ, KK, and AKs.

The sad thing... the only part where JT made an error was the pre-flop call! JT folding that flop would be losing money. There was more than 14 bets in the pot and it was only 1 to him, which is much more than enough for a gutshot. Then he catches an OESD on the turn.

Like I said, his errors were pre-flop.

I do not fold an OESD on a 3-to-flush board against two others in huge pots unless there is a lot of action. Here all he knows is you liked your hand pre-flop, probably KK-AA or AKs. You do not need to have any diamonds at all. And neither does the other caller. If the turn was raised, I would have folded the OESD - instead it just went bet-call.

In huge pots like this one, I will continue drawing even if there's a chance I'm drawing dead. You only have to be right 5-10% of the time and you usually aren't drawing dead.

I see your point, Derek, but making solid odds plays after such an egregious error pre-flop is not a defense for the horrendous play. He likely has NO CONCEPT of pot odds or anything else. This is the same guy who (didn't mention this before) capped a flop with A8 out of position and beat KK with a river 8 after an 2-T-8 flop. He just hits the call button until another card matches his hand *whoopee* and then hits "raise."

I also know that they will not win long term, but when you get beat the way I've been beaten in the last 2 months, it takes a bit out of you.

He's risking a total of $14 to win $34 more overall in the hand up to the turn. It is a relatively large pot (16BB), but when you compound his errors into the whole hand, his play is an enormous error, but is typical of most idiots playing holdem today.

I'm taking the hand to be as a whole here:

He risks $14 8 times= $112
He hits once in 8= $61

Net loss= -$51

How can these morons keep bankrolls for any length of time making these idiotic plays? It's honest assessment here: If you take out my top 25 worst beats in LHE, you'd find that I was a 3-to-1 favorite or better in 20 of them, and that if they didn't happen, it would raise my overall winrate by nearly 0.75BB/100.

He should have folded pre-flop, obviously. No doubt there. I just do not understand why this is a terrible bad beat post. That's what I'm arguing. He made numerous major errors pre-flop, but had the odds to continue with his draws post-flop. He did not put on a terrible beat.

A lot of fish love JTo for whatever reason. I've heard it argued that since JT can make more straights than any other hand, this is the reason they think it is so strong.

I have no idea how they keep any semblance of a bankroll since the odds dictate they lose more often than they win. Perhaps they are losing players, but live for the moment when they scoop in the occasional big pot from a suckout. Some people just love to gamble, literally.
