2/4 limit hold'em full tables

I won $70 at the main site and lost $24 at the
alternative site.

At the main site, I had another up and down session. I
started out up about $40 and then was down about $60
and finally made a comeback to about even. At the end
I won with pocket QQ which won unimproved and pocket
TT when I flopped a full house with a flop of JJT. I
had profit of $77 on the two hands.

I got beat quite often on the turn and river and it
was frustrating. In one hand I flopped a set of nines
and lost to a straight on the river in a pot that was
over $120.

Sets flopped were 2 for 22, below average.

Flush draws made were 4 for 9, above average.

I finished down $31 and was down as much as $102.

During my downturn, I had the following unfortunate
events happen:

My flopped set of kings was beaten by a straight on
the river.

Trip queens with an ace kicker was beat by a full
house.

A flush to the king was beaten by a flush to the ace.
Didn't know it at the time, but I was drawing dead
after the turn.

I flopped a straight and the river gave my opponent a
split when he rivered an inside straight.

I had AQ beat by AK.

I had AQ beat by K9 when a king flopped.

I made my comeback due to the following:

I made a successful bluff with king high.

I had 32 in the big blind, flopped a 3, and won
against a bluff with a pair of threes.

I made a flush draw on the river.

I made a set of nines on the turn to win.

Activity for December 30

Today I won $69. Another up and down day. I started
out down $47 primarily because I flopped a straight
and got beat by a higher straight on the turn.

Then I was up $79. I flopped two sets, made two other
full houses and flopped a flush.

Then I lost most of it and was only up $7.

Finally at the end I made a flush with 6h 5h on the
turn and won. Then I had AQ and flopped a queen and
got an ace on the turn to win a nice pot.

I made some really bad calls when I was badly beat and
I really have to stop doing that.

Sets flopped were 3 for 18, above average.

Flush draws made were 2 for 2, above average.

Activity for 12/31/05

Hope you all have a happy and prosperous new year.

Today was a real rollercoaster ride. I was up $40,
then down $40 then about even then I went on a big
downward spiral of down $203 highlighted by a set of
kings beaten by a straight and a flush beaten by a
full house.

But I kept playing and made it to only down $16,
before I went on another losing streak to down $80,
highlighted by a full house losing to quads.

But I kept playing and gradually made it to only down
$8 when I decided to call it a year.

At the alternate site I won $1.

Statistics were actually good.

Sets flopped were 7 for 35, above average. I won all
but one of the sets, but the set I lost I lost quite a
bit of money.

Flush draws made were 3 for 6, also above average.

During the downward spiral, I made some bad calls
again, but later in the day I didn't make them.

Totals for Dec 31 Saturday: -8 and +1 = -7

Needed to go to next level: + 284

December totals: +408 and + 226 = 634

Activity for 01/01/2006

HAPPY NEW YEAR

The new year started off well for me. Of course I had
some of my usual bad luck, but I made enough good
hands to make up for it. I finished up $141 at the
main site. I played a little at the alternate site and
lost $4.

I'm getting better at making good laydowns. I didn't
make any really bad calls, like I had been doing the
last couple of days.

My favorite hand today was Qc 9c. I had it twice and
won both times. The first with a pair of queens, and
the second was when I made a flush on the river.

Another reason I won was that I flopped two straights
which both won.

I won once with pocket AA and lost once with pocket
AA. I also lost with pocket KK, QQ, and JJ, which I
had once each. But I was able to get away from the
hands fairly cheaply when I realized that I was beat,
a key to my success today.

Sets flopped were 1 for 12, below average.

Flush draws made were 2 for 4, above average.

I finished down $22 at the main site and up $14 at the
alternate site.

At one point I was down $97 and made a comeback. The
low light of the days was when my set of jacks (my only
set of the day) was beat by a set of aces. Ugh.

Sets flopped were 1 for 14, below average.

Flush draws made were 2 for 4, above average.

Totals for Jan 3 Tuesday: - 22 and + 14 = -8

Activity for 01/04/2006

YEA!!!

I made it to the next level at the main site. I won
$148 today at the main site. I also played 5 hands at
the alternate site and won $37.

In the winning hand, I had AK and raised and the flop
was KK6. One person called me down all the way and I
won. The final board was KK63Q.

Earlier in the day, I had made $48 primarily due to
making a couple of flush draws, and I only needed
$98 to go. Then I switched tables and in the course of
only 30 hands dealt to me, I made $100. Of those 30
hands I played 9 of them and won 8 of them.

The last hands went like this:

Hand 1. I got Ac Tc, got nothing on the flop and
folded.

Hand 2. I had AK and raised preflop and had one
caller. The flop was TT8. I bet and was called. The
turn was another 8 putting two pair on the board TT88.
I check called the hand down, and beat a bluff. My
opponent had pocket 77, and my ace kicker beat his
seven kicker.

Hand 3. I had AQ and raised preflop and had one
caller. The final board was 99J28 and my ace high won
against my opponent's A7.

Hand 4. I'm in the big blind with 87. The small blind
calls and I check. The flop was AK8. The small blind
checks, I bet and he folds.

Hand 5. I'm in the small blind with Js 9s. There is
one early caller, I call, and the big blind checks.
The flop is J62. I bet and my opponents fold.

Hand 6. I'm in late position with 6s 5s. It gets
folded to me. I raise and everyone folds, so I win the
blinds.

Hand 7. The hand is described in detail below:

I have in early position and call. It gets
raised after me in MP (middle position). The SB (small
blind) calls, the big blind folds, and I call.

The flop is . I have a flush draw and a
straight draw. The small blind checks, I check, and MP
bets. The small blind raises. I call. The MP reraises.
The SB reraises. I call both raises and the MP calls
the raise.

The turn is the . The SB bets and I
and the MP both call.

The river is . I made my
flush. The SB checks, I bet, the MP folds, and the SB
calls. I win a $55.10 pot, 13.775 big bets (profit= $35.10).

Hand 8. I'm on the button with pocket 33. There are 3
callers in front of me. I call and the big blind calls.
I flop a set and win the pot.

Hand 9. And in the winning hand that I described
earlier, I had AK and raised and the flop was KK6. One
person called me down all the way and I won. The final
board was KK63Q.

Now on to the other site to try to win the 300 big
bets of the next level there.

I started at the 2/4 level at the main site on
September 3, 2005 and it took me almost exactly 4
months to make it to the next level there.

We will see how long it takes me to make it to the
next level at the alternate site.
