Activity for 2/4 limit hold'em full tables

My good luck continued on the other site. I made $127,
in spite of the fact that I flopped 0 sets out of 22
pocket pairs.

The reason that I won was because I only got beat once
on the turn and once on the river. Since the players
play much tighter at this site, many times the hands
get folded on the flop or turn and never get to
showdown.

On the other hand, I got 3 favorable turn cards and 7
favorable river cards, which offset my lack of flopped
sets.

Flush draws were 1 for 4, a little below average.

Just played for a little while today, and I made $16.

I was down early when I got beat on the river with a 3
outer. (So much for my luck of not being beat much on
the river carrying over from yesterday to today).
Later I made a bad call to go down further.

But my luck got better. I limped in with pocket AA and
got an ace on the river to beat my opponent. Then I
had pocket TT and flopped a set to win.

Sets flopped were 1 for 3, above average.

Activity for 01/09/06

Today I finished up $18.

In the first hand I played today, I posted before the
button and had Th 4h. I flopped a ten, got a four on
the turn for two pair, and got another ten on the
river for a full house. Needless to say I won the
hand.

But after that I kept getting beat on the turn and the
river. I got beat on the turn, then the river, then
the turn, then the river twice. I won a few small pots
in between those hands, and I was down about $62.

I also had pocket AA during the downturn, and against
two opponents, I ended up with the third best hand.
One opponent flopped a set of sixes, and the other
opponent got a flush on the turn. The river gave the
flopped set of sixes a full house. Fortunately I
didn't put any money in to the pot on the river,
because facing a bet and a raise, I smartened up and
folded my hand, which turned out to be a very good
decision because I was way behind.

In another hand during the downturn, I had Ad Jd in
the big blind facing a raise and called. I flopped top
pair jacks, but was beat because my opponent had
pocket queens. Just bad luck.

Finally I made a comeback because of the following
hands:

1. I had Js Ts, and made a straight on the turn to
win.

2. I had KT, flopped a ten, got a king on the turn,
and won.

3. Then I had 9d 7d, raised and the big blind called.
I flopped a straight draw and a backdoor flush draw,
while my opponent flopped two pair. The turn made me a
straight and also gave me a flush draw. On the river I
got my flush and my nine high flush beat my opponent's
8 high flush draw (he had 8d 6d). It was an unusual
hand.

Sets flopped were 0 for 3. (I didn't get many pocket
pairs today).

I made the only flush draw I had in the hand described
above.

I won $89 today.

I started out great and was up $75. All of my hands
were holding up and I wasn't getting beat on the turn
or river. I even won with pocket KK and QQ.

Of course my good luck didn't last long and on two
hands I got beat on the river. In one hand my opponent
raised me on the turn on a flush draw and overcards,
and one of his overcards came in on the river. At this
point I was only up $7.

My luck turned around again, and I won 3 hands in a
row that I played.

In the first hand I had Ks Js and got a king on the
turn to win.

In the second hand I had pocket 22 in the big blind
and called a raise. The flop was AA2. I flopped a full
house. Another 2 came on the river giving me quads and
I won the hand of course.

In the third hand I had Kh Jh, and got a jack on the
flop to win.

Sets flopped were 1 for 7, a little above average.

Flush draws made were 0 for 1 1/2, a little below
average.

I finished up $165 today. I'm not quite sure why I am
doing so well today.

Sets flopped were 0 for 7.
Flush draws made were 0 for 1.
I'm also getting beat occasionally on the turn and
river.

I guess that I must be playing better, and folding
when I am beat. Most of my single pair hands seem to
be holding up. I had pocket AA twice which won.

Activity for 01/13/06

I finished down $146 today. I was one bad river card
from finishing in the positive and quitting. But I got
beat on the river, and kept playing and lost more.

I was getting dealt very few good starting cards
today, which is one of the reasons why I didn't do so
well today. I played 855 hands, so I should have had
at least 3 pocket AA, KK, QQ, JJ, etc., but I only had
one pocket AA (which I lost to 8s 7s), 2 pocket KK,
one pocket QQ, and one pocket JJ.

I also had some bad luck in some hands as follows:

I got a flush on the river and got beat by a higher
flush.

I got a straight on the river and got beat by a higher
straight.

I got a straight on the river and got beat by a slow
played flopped full house.

I was actually down about $50 more, and made a
comeback, when I got really lucky in a hand in which I
had AQ against pocket AA. I got a queen on the flop
and a queen on the turn to win a $74 (18.5 big bets) pot. I quit
shortly after that hand.

I also watched one hand that was unusual that happened
at my table. One opponent flopped a set of aces and
the other opponent flopped a set of sixes. I had
folded preflop of course. The last remaining six came
on the river, and the quad sixes beat the full house
of aces over sixes. It was a surreal hand to watch. Of
course, both players were raising and reraising like
mad.

Sets flopped were 2 for 20, below average.

Flush draws made were 1 for 4 below average.

Activity for 01/14/06
2/4 limit hold'em full tables

I won $169 today. I was happy that I made back what I
lost yesterday and a little bit more. I was actually
up $25 more, but I lost that amount on the last two hands. The
first I had Ad Kc and raised. I was up against Ac 4c
in the big blind. The flop contained 3 clubs. My
opponent had flopped the nut flush, and I was drawing
dead to the second nut flush (but of course I didn't
know it at the time.) Neither the turn or the river
contained another club, but my opponent raised me on
the turn so I had to pay 2 big bets to see the river
card. I folded on the river, but the hand cost me some
money.

The last hand I played I had pocket JJ, and raised,
and was called by the big blind with A5. Of course an
ace flopped and I lost.

But I got really good luck in some hands; I guess to
offset the bad luck I had yesterday. Some of my good
luck hands were as follows:

I had pocket QQ, which held up to win.

I had AQ, and flopped two pair to win.

I had pocket KK, which held up to win.

I had pocket 77 which beat pocket 66.

I had 6d 5d, and made a backdoor flush to win.

I had Kh 9h, and made a straight on the river to win.

I had Th 6h and flopped a straight to win.

I had Ad Qd against pocket KK and got an ace on the
river to win.

I had AJ against AQ and got a favorable card on the
river to split.

I had Ad Kd and flopped a flush to win.

Sets flopped were 1 for 11, below average.

Flush draws made were 1 for 4 1/2, below average.
