I set out to knock out the second 200 bonus at party today and I made it but it was a grind. 1600 hands of 12 limit in a day should be forbidden. Found myself down 120.00 or so about halfway through this nightmare but was able to crawl back to -40 or so before finishing up.
Here are a few of my stats for you to look at BK. If you are at 12% VIP then I wouldn't change much if you ask me and you did so there you have it:) As I have admitted before my online game is squeaky tight but I still manage to get in there and gamble in certain spots against particular folks with a wide variety of hands at times but these times are limited. I have been at this online poker stuff now about 4 years or so and in that time I have found that my philosophy works so I just don't veer much from it. Are there people that play alot more hands than me that win, I am sure there are, and if they can get away with it then more power to them. I am certain that I could play alot more hands than I do now and perhaps even increase my win rate because my post flop play is very good but I just choose not too because when it is all said and done I don't think the increase would be that significant and I just like a lower variance game. My B&M game is much looser than my online game. As far as NL goes when I am multitabling I play pretty tight as well although I will see a few more flops with small pocket pairs that I would fold in limit. When I am only playing 1 table of NL my game is usually on the loose agressive side as I like to see alot of pots with alot of different types of hands and I usually pull this style of play off very well but in doing so I limit myself to only 1 table so it is tough to overcome the positive multitable facet. If I can get good enough at NL to work this style at 3 tables or so then I may start playing alot more NL as I do enjoy it and that style much more fits me than the imaginative rock I have become at online limit.
Some stats since mid November: 36 limit Empire: hands played 13693, VIP% 11.22, VIP%SB 11.74, preflop raise 7.62%, went to showdown 35.51%, won$ SD 54%, Agression Factor FLOP: 2.75, TURN: 2.7 RIVER: 1.68
I hope that helps in some way.
