Decided to put in a short early morning session before hitting the sack. Incredibly passive table which if I wasn't so tired I would just gut it out a while longer but just been a very long day.

Just another short session at Martins this morning. The day has started off quite nicely for a change. Split a sign up bonus at Martins as well for a little extra bonus money. That place just loves to give away free dollars. Anyone not taking advantage of that bonus that plays lower limit games is just doing themselves a disservice. With the clearance of these 3064 raked hands I will have made ca. 1250 EUROS IN BONUS from the site.

Damn good table and seat selection make this game so much easier  Another nice short session when a good seat opened up to the left of two very loose, passive players. Managed to make a little bit before they both left. When you can sit at SH tables where people are limping in UTG and your Big Blind is virtually never raised you are in a gold field barring some atrocious fortune if you have some inkling of how to play SH games.

Another short session at Empire to start the evening off on a good note.

Empire 5-10 6 max limit, 75 hands, 162.50
Martins 2-4 euro 6 max limit, ca. 20 hands, 56.00 euro (67.84)

Not alot of action at the early morning tables on the sites I had scoped out but I did manage a session at Empire against some shaky opponents but couldn't make much out of it. The one semi-big pot I was involved in got reeled in by the table fish.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 3 handed)

Preflop: Hero is Button with , [Qh].
Hero raises, SB 3-bets, BB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (9 SB) [5s], [9c], [Qs] (3 players)
SB bets, BB calls, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls.

Turn: (7.50 BB) [7h] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls.

River: (10.50 BB) [8d] (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero calls, SB folds.

Final Pot: 12.50 BB

Results in white below:
BB has 6d 7c (straight, nine high).
Hero has Td Qh (one pair, queens).
Outcome: BB wins 12.50 BB.

A very unsatifying PLO8 session at Martins. Never hit one of my big draws but managed not to lose too much in what was a very lackluster session.

A much nicer afternoon session. Only another 90 or so raked hands at Martins to be done. Just a little over 3 hours left at UKBetting to finish the Cryptos for this month as well. Running well and playing pretty damn well also. Just need to keep my hours up.

Empire 5-10 6 max limit, 213 hands, 12.50
Crypto 1-2 quid limit, 39 hands, 13.25 quid (23.36)
Martins 1-2 euro 6 max limit, ca. 170 hands, 54.66 euro (65.99)
Martins PLO8 20 euro, ca. 100 hands, -15.06 euro (-18.16)

Yeah bro I was actually thinking about that this evening. I am pretty wiped out tonight but perhaps tomorrow around 2-3 we can do a 7 stud at Stars. If that is ok just drop me a line about what time is ok with you and I'll meet you there.

I decided not to do any more HU matches after I get through the ones with Xas as I had already made that obligation to play through those. I perhaps will continue to do so in the future but what I found in the first series was that they were taking up more time than I wanted to devote to them at this point.

I had decided not to do the Eurobet 600.00 bonus but since switching over to SH games I think I will. I am also getting rake back there and after playing some at the 3-6 tables I calculated it right at 80.00 per 1000 hands which is about 10.00 more than I get at the 5-10 tables at Empire. PR charges a little more juice and has 5 player tables which drives up the rakeback. It will take about 6000 hands to clear the 600.00 bonus at that limit along with ca. 480.00 in rake return so not too shabby. Comes out to about 72.00/hr 4 tabling not counting wins/losses.

God damn. That last session wasn't how I invisioned finishing off the Martins bonus. Just got beat down in the 24 SH game unmercifully.

Another short session at Eurobet. I discovered the reason I was having problems with the Pokerroom software (Martins as well) in the past. Apparently JAVA based games won't allow you to play on an additional screen. This was causing the games to black out, etc. I got 4 up and running on the laptop screen but with only 5 players and one table shorthanded it was all I could do to keep up with the games having alot of overlap so I cut the session short. I think that I will start doing 2 games at euro and 2 games at Empire so I can use both screens to full benefit.

What a playa  Managed to turn a pretty nasty day into a positive albeit a very small one.

Empire 5-10 6 max limit, 47 hands, 45.50
Eurobet 3-6 5 max limit, 222 hands, -38.15
Martins 2-4 euro 6 max limit, ca. 160 hands, -133 euro (-161.03)
Eurobet 2-4 5 max limit, 55 hands, 32.60
Martins 1-2 euro limit, ca. 30 hands, -3.75 euro (-4.54)
Crypto 1-2 7 stud, 10 hands, 4.25

Start of the day looked like it was going to be one of those days were nothing holds up and I just get my ass kicked. Was down about 4C notes in the 5-10 SH game due to the never ending brutal nature of the beast that it can be at times but managed to put together a short flurry of whoop ass on the fools to eak out a small profit for the first session of the day. Was pretty pissed at myself at a lay down I made that cost me about 120.00. This little beauty with a nice turn one outer really helped turn
the tide.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 4 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with [Kh], [Kd].
UTG calls, Button calls, Hero raises, BB calls, UTG calls, Button calls.

Flop: (8 SB) [6c], [As], [6d] (4 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, UTG calls, Button calls.

Turn: (5.50 BB) [Ks] (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls, Button calls.

River: (8.50 BB) [6s] (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG raises, Button calls, Hero 3-bets, UTG calls, Button calls.

Final Pot: 17.50 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Kh Kd (full house, kings full of sixes).
UTG has 4h Ah (full house, sixes full of aces).
Button has Jc Kc (full house, sixes full of kings).
Outcome: Hero wins 17.50 BB. [/color

Was going to put in some time at Eurobet but I keep getting the message can't log in to server. Tried through Pokerroom and all was well, don't know what the problem is. Rebooted and got the Eurobet to work. I can already see that I can't handle the speed on the 5 max tables when trying to play 4 of them. I think I could do it if I could use both screens but that damn JAVA application shit prohibits me from doing so. I really want to burn through this bonus quickly as I don't like the site but just too much free money to pass up when combined with the rake back.

Put in one short night session to finish off the day on a good note overall after a rough start this morning.

Empire 5-10 6 max limit, 780 hands, 101.80

Piers, How many simultaneous tables do you have to play to get in 850 hands in 2.5 hours? More than 4?

Just 4. I am averaging about 100 hands/table/hr. I have not tried to do more than 4 tables of SH and I don't think I will be doing so anytime soon as that is about all I can handle well at this time.

Par for the course again today right off the bat just got my ass kicked by some stupid shit but managed to crawl back out to around even.

Sometimes my folds are just too damn good. Two hands that I have laid down in the last two days when it was bet by an Uber fish into multiple people on a very shitty board for me and both I end up winning for another 200.00 of profit. The latest. Both of these cats are fish so it is hard for me to believe I am not beat here. But so it goes.

PokerRoom 3/6 Hold'em (4 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with [Tc], [Ts].
1 fold, Button calls, SB completes, Hero raises, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) [7s], [Jc], [9c] (3 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (6 BB) [6d] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB calls.

River: (9 BB) [5c] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, Button bets, SB raises, Hero folds, Button calls.

Final Pot: 13 BB

Results in white below:
Button doesn't show.
SB has 9h Kh (one pair, nines).
Outcome: SB wins 13 BB.

Probably going to take the day off today as I am suspecting at least some of the 4 people staying with me for the World Social Reform meeting to show up today. Cooking up a big batch of chili with plenty of cold cervezas awaiting consumption.

Decided to put in a short late night session and made a little profit for my efforts.

Mother phucker. I feel like someone just slit my wrist and dumped me over the side of a boat in the lower Orinoco river. Just a blood bath of bad beats which I somehow weathered to only be down a little for the morning session.

Played another very short session to get myself in the black for the day before the other folks showed up that are staying with me for a few days. Perhaps I will take the rest of the day off or maybe work a little bit later tonight.

Nice change of pace to the normal routine of getting my ass kicked in the early morning session. I put on what might be termed a virtual session of whoopass in the first hour of the day. Caught alot of big hands and had folks just wanting to give me extra money so I obliged them. This one was a beauty.

PokerRoom 3/6 Hold'em (5 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with [Qd], [Qh].
Hero raises, 2 folds, SB 3-bets, 1 fold, Hero calls.

Flop: (7 SB) [Ac], [8h], [Qs] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls.

Turn: (5.50 BB) [4d] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, Hero 3-bets, SB caps, Hero calls.

River: (13.50 BB) [9c] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, Hero caps, SB calls.

Final Pot: 21.50 BB

Results in white below:
SB doesn't show.
Hero has Qd Qh (three of a kind, queens).
Outcome: Hero wins 21.50 BB.
