Only because I hit the holy grail on my Ali-like return to O/8 after a few months off. This is 100 PLO/8 at Bodog.
I've got $104.25 at the start of the hand. The table is pretty loose passive with a good number of players seeing the flop. I limp in EP with . 4 others limp and both blinds play. The pot is $7 and the flop is . Checked to me, I check, and an MP player with a relatively short stack ($37.66 to start) pots it. Folds around to the button who calls. The blinds fold and I call. The pot is $28 and the turn is the magnificent . I check, shorty checks, and the button bets 19.50. I smooth call, shorty pushes, the button calls, and I push. The button calls and I win a nice 210+ dollar pot with the steel wheel.
On showdown I see the cards. Shorty has A559 for a turned boat. The button had AK103 for the flopped boat. . Notice the horrendous play of the button. If he re-pots with the flopped nuts, I can't call. He probably still loses the pot because I can't see the short stack folding, but he doesn't get stacked. Cha-ching!
