I am on FTP and opened one NL$100 and one NL$50 table. I am up 63 in the $100 and 14 in the $50s.

Well, time I updated.....strange how I always feel like making an entry when I do well, anyways, the last week has been pretty kind overall. After my big win last Wednesday, I lost $100 of it back over the next 2 days, a small win on Sunday, then the last 3 days have gone +$130, +$45, +$119, taking stacks left, right and center.

Thursday and Friday were -$75 and -$25...I was going to post some hands, looked in my database and find that there were no major hands for those 2 days. The loss all came from having no cards and not hitting flops. Everyone just seemed to play back at me and I couldn't do a damm thing about it.

Sunday was marginally positive with just 2 hands of note.
QQ vs AKs with flop of KQ5 and took a stack for +$35
55 vs K9s with flop of K75 and lost to a short stack all in turning his flush for -$15

Monday (+$130) I had to suck out to to win a 3 way all-in hand
77 vs 99 vs AQ on A97 flop (WTF!!!!) money goes in on the flop against 2 half stacks. I turn a 7 and river bricks for quads and +$45
77 (again) vs KK vs A9(?!?!?!) all-in agains a half stack and full stack on flop of 974 nuff said +$75

Tuesday (+$45) Strange session. I was absolutely caning one table but struggling on 2 others
KK vs JJ putting short stack all-in but he turns a J after a raggy flop -$16
77 vs JJ deep stack play on T72 flop. turn 4 river K value betting my way to +$32
44 vs KK on 942 flop money goes in on turn (5) and I stack him for +$45
AA vs KK PF I limp re-raise from EP. He calls and flop is 883. He calls my CB and get all-in on the turn (9) +$47

Today (+$119) Again started off real bad, about -$30 after 100 hands then it all clicked

Okay here's the deal......After he raises the flop, I know, I mean I just know he's got 22 (77 and 99 possible but unlikely as they'd all be out. A9 he wouldn't play from EP. Overpair possible but I'm ahead of that anyway so its all good). I got like 20k hands on this guy, I just know ok.
Here's the science bit. On the flop, it's $4 to call to go to the turn, I got 4 outs. I know if my read is correct and I hit the turn and fill up, I'm stacking him. So I got 4 outs of 45 cards left and it's $4 to call to win his $63 stack. The odds are in my favour so I went for it. He was stunned when I stacked him 'unbelievable'

After these last 3 days, the month is looking very healthy indeed and hopefully can kick on and win a bit more before the end of the month. NL100 looking possible again emotionally speaking, BR is healthy enough to take it but my head wouldn't be given recent performance.

Wow, I just saw the biggest donk in history today. He was sat down at one of my tables, managed to get about $30-40 from him, honestly he was awful. Buying in for $12-$25 at a time and proceeding to push with 2nd, 3rd pair, A hi, any hand he was in, he was pushing. He would win a few with the best hand but most he didn't suckout on which was funny as he was winging about it. At the end of my session, I looked at the GT+ stats on him.....80 some hands, -400BB/100....yup in the space of 80 hands, he lost 4 buyins and that was buying in short as well, must have been about 10 times he got stacked....amazing.......DONKTASTIC !!!!!

First hand against him was a pretty straight forward QQ into my AA PF....I raised UTG+1 after a limper to $2.5 He re-raised the min to $4.5, I pushed, he called and board was rags, got $25 from him that time

2nd effort I lost, but only because I was sucked out on in a 3 way all-in fest.
Donk raises to $1.75 UTG+1, I call in the CO with , SB muppet villain calls as does BB
Flop ($7) check, check, Donk bets pot, I raise to $28 to push out the draws behind and also knowing he's calling me with a K or case 9. Muppet villain FLAT CALLS and donk is all in. Turn is and I put muppet in for his last $3-4. River is and I see muppet drag $89 with ....barsteward.....donk shows KQ.

3rd big hand involving the donk I won back a sizeable pot, again 3 way and again the 3rd party is the muppet villain from before.
Muppet limps in UTG+1, donk limps in MP, btn, SB both call and I check in the BB with .
Flop ($2.5) SB checks, I check, muppet checks, donk leads pot which doesn't actually mean anything at all apart from he's going all in at some stage in the hand, btn calls, I check raise to $8, muppet FLAT CALLS which I don't respect, donk min re-raises which again means naff all, btn folds, I poooooooosh me overpair and open ender for $45, muppet has me covered and calls and donk as predicted is all in for about $30.
Turn is OHHHHH YESSS !!!!!!
River and I drag $122 with donk showing A4 and muppet showing a respectable 43o for 2 pr. OK I sucked out but knowing I had 10 outs twice (actually had 13) and given the history of these 2, I felt it justified.

The last 3 days have been good to me +$32, +$110 and tonight +$48 along with about $25 bonus which has seen my BR surge the most it has in a long time (+$350 since friday )
I'll post some more hands when I get round to it... Very happy with my play at present

Wednesday evening I played in the now regular fortnightly home games with some buddies. We alternate between cash games one time £10 buyin 1hr limit followed by 2hrs pot limit and NL tournaments the next time we play. Theres usually around 8 of us and we're pretty equal standard so it makes for some pretty good games.
This week it was tourney week, 3 tournaments £3, £4 and £5 buyins, 8 players, 2500 starting chips, starting at 25/50 and 10 minute blind increases. Even though I thought I played pretty solid, couldn't manage the money and bubbled out all 3 times. I made a great laydown against my mate Dave which I was proud of....I raise in MP with KJ to 300 (2nd level), Dave calls and we're heads up. Flop is AJx. I check/call 500. Turn is A and I check fold to 1500. Sounds pretty standard but it was a tough laydown against an aggro player and he showed A8, we played the river after which would have been an 8.
Later on in the 2nd tourney, I had a pretty commanding chip lead with 5 players left around 7k of the 20k in play when I ran JJ into QQ for about 3k. The very next hand I try a blind steal with Q5s and run it into 22 all-in unimproved for another 2k, Then the last hand about 3 hands later down to 4 players, I run AT into QQ again and that was that.
I only sucked out once the entire session as well when I had 5d8d in the blinds on a board of 267d3d which I pushed all-in with my 15 outs and caught a Jd on the river to bust an unraised TT. Only other hand on note was my flopped set JJJ busting out TT on a board of JK96K, another player folded 66 on the flop....ack!!
I found myself questioning my play the day after on a couple of situations but just realised I got unlucky, after about the 3rd level it's just all about pushing with the best of it, unfortunately I got all my good hands at the earlier levels which doesnt count for much with such an aggressive blind structure.

I didn't play all weekend as I was visiting my folks. Had a good time, went out with some family friends on the Saturday night for lots of curry and just had a good chill out the rest of the time. Also told my mom that I've been playing online poker for the last year or so. My dad already knew but mum was a different proposition, she was made up when I told her I'd made nearly 5k profit hehehehehheh.....!!!!

The last 2 sessions online have been pretty frustrating, especially tonight.
I was up after the 2nd hand of the session with this hand:

UTG calls, I raise to $2.5 with in MP, BTN calls, blinds and UTG fold
Flop ($5.5) I lead $5, BTN calls
Turn ($15) woohoo !!!! I push, BTN calls
River ($69)
and I scoop busting his JJ.

After that hand, nothing for like ever, totally card dead. I had AA once and KK twice just picking up the blinds and limpers. I won a couple of small-medium pot hands but nothing else. I did get into a sticky spot with this hand though.

Folded to me, I BTN raise to $2 with , BB calls
Flop ($4.2) BB checks, I bet $3.75, BB min CRs to $7.50, I reraise to $18 and BB pushes after thinking for ever. I folded and put him on AK wondering if I had top or 2nd set.

+$24 yesterday, +$17 today

Well, had a good day yesterday, in the end +$98 but that wasn't before i was stuck for -$80 at one stage.
I got stacked right off the bat against a 43/18/3 with a double stack

Villain ($134) min raises to $1 UTG+1 (8-h), folds to me ($46) on the BTN with and i call along with BB.
Flop ($3.25) BB checks, Villain bets pot, I call and BB folds
Turn ($9.75) Villain bets pot, I raise to $25 and villain calls
River ($60) Villain puts me in for my last $16 and I call

He flips for trips....ack !!!!!

100 lines, I will not slow play TPTK, I will not slow play TPTK. I got it back off him later on though.
So here I am a stack down just a few hands into my session and I carry on, playing my usual TAG 16/4/4 not picking up much, a few failed CBs and all of a sudden I'm looking at my GT+ and work out i'm down $80 and wonder why!!!!
[cue Rocky theme] And then.....the fightback starts

1. The big blind spesh with 64o with a flop of 654. I bet and call a min-raise. Turn is another 4 and I fill up and take $20 against 73s plated from UTG+1 !!!!
2. I flop a set of KKK and get TT to come along for the ride on a board of 3K568 for +$25
3. I loosely call a min raise in the BB with QTs and flop top 2, turn brings a flush draw and I get my money in against AJs and scoop a full stack when he misses. Board was QT259 +$50
4. Same muppet as 3. I limp call a min-raise from UTG with AJs and flop JJK. I check call a pot bet. Turn is a 4 and I lead out and get called. River is then a K...ugh!!!....muppet pushes for $15 and I think for a while before calling and he shows T9s !!!!! for another busted FD and +$38 to me
5. A fairly straightforward AK vs my set of 9s but I left money on the table when I checked the river to induce a bluff but didn't work (we both had triple stacks!!) +$30

So all in all a fab session +$98 and taking my BR over the 5k mark for the very first time.......

BR May 09 $5016

So with over 5k in my BR now, I thought it long overdue that I try the NL100 tables. To ease me in, I'm gonna be playing 2xNL50 and 1xNL100 and replace the tables at intervals depending on my play. I found that a lot of the players I'm beating at the NL50 level are also playing the NL100s so it was a nice surprise when I found some guys already in my PT database with loads of hands on them. I still pre-fetched a few hands to get me informed of the table conditions.

Got off to a great start against a well known muppet and won his short stack off him.
Muppet raises to $6 after one caller, folds to me and I tank it in on the button with JJ. He calls, the board is rags and he turns over AKo.
I caught him later on at the NL50 table I was playing and did a similar thing to his AK with my QQ only this time the money didnt go in until the turn and he called my all-in with an unimproved AKo.

I then got into a sticky spot on the NL100 table and lost back what I'd just won to a 15/4/3.5 solid player but made a decent laydown in the process.

Folded to muppet who calls, TAG raises to $4.5 on the BTN, I call in the SB with and muppet folds.
Flop ($11) I check, TAG bets $11, I CR to $30 and TAG pushes and has my $132 covered. I go to the tank and put him on KK or AA and fold.
He asked me after if I had AK and that he should've slowed down a bit. I believe his AA

So, back to square one and I continue picking up small pots with CBs and position semi-bluffs but not getting anywhere real fast. Meanwhile on the NL50 tables I get all-in with 44 on AK4 flop, 8 on turn, K on river and get it cracked by AK for -$25. After that though, it was plain sailing for the remainder of the session and I hit some pretty good hands to make $105 for the session.
