Las Vegas: Day 3
Current mood: calm
So on Wenesday I played some $70 sitngo at the Mirage, and lost on a coinflip to finish on the bubble (third place.) I then decided to randomly walk around and ended up going to the Bellagio.
I made it there at like 4:30 and they were having a $1000 tournament starting at 5pm. The structure was awesome with 5000 chips and blinds only going up every 40 minutes. Sadly, my streak of no cards continued. I moved allin with JTo UTG with T1700 chips with the blinds at 200/100 and going up in 2 minutes. Although it was my first move of the day; the button apparently thought his A9 was good. I hit a ten on the flop but hit an ace on the turn and ace on the river. At least I had a good time.
After that I pillaged some 3/6 limit games with Briachek and his friends. I played like a complete donk and doubled up my $100 stack. I raised in the dark UTG and finally had my first premium of the trip, good ol' AK that ended up hitting TPTK. I had another hand where I had an OESD with J9 but the board on the river read AATT8. I bet the river on a steal, the guy with 55 called and lost playing the board.
My other favorite hand was calling a raise and reraise cold with JQo out of position. I had a gutter on the flop and called a bet and a raise... then the turn checked around. I hit top pair jacks on the river and led for $6. The reraiser called my bet, mucked and looked all pissed. Ahh the joy of playing like shit and winning.

Thursday I didn't play any poker at all. I basically walked the whole strip just checking out all the different casinos. Surprisingly, I was disappointed with the games being spread. 1/2 NL is everywhere but it's not so easy to find higher games.
I went to dinner with Briachek and his friends at this incredibly awesome high-class restaurant called "9." The tab for 4 of us was over $300 but Nelson, Briachek's friend, picked it up without us knowing. My filet was supurb, not to mention the awesome smores we got to cook over an open flame. I have pictures I'll post when I get back home.
After that all of us went to the bar and started taking shots. I suck at shots but I managed to get them all down. There was Jagermiester, Jameson, Rumpleminz, and tequila (some did 151.)

I might actually play today. We'll see.
