This run is insane. Do I ever get to win with the best hand or is the rest of my fucking poker life going to be clueless fucking morons winning with huge underdogs. I bought into a $20 MTT on PS. I played really tight, doubled yup with AA vs AK all in preflop. I stole a couple pots. I really thought things might be turning. I got JJ raised to 600 UTG push for 700 more. Fuck me. Ok I have to call. He has AQ and but some fucking miracle I win a coin flip. So I now have 8k in chips. I got to break and gooper and I joke that its a tourament what hand am I going to bust with. Ak of course. So I get AK. It gets raised in front of me by the guy that has been raising every fucking hand. I reraise to put him all in for 5k. He calls with KQs the flop of course is Q44. Wow what a shock, I didnt see that coming or anything. I have to be the only fucking person on earth that is a 4:1 underdog when I have my opponant dominated. So I now have 2k in chips. So I fold both BB and SB to a raise. I have 1600 of so chips left. I am the BB now with A6s. Button (moron) limps after everyone folds. I push, he calls with 56d. Great another dominated hand, flop is 589 with no spades. All I want to know is when the fuck is the bullshit gonna end, just once I want to actually win when I'm playing a moron who is dominated.

I know touranments are played by mostly clueless morons and I understand that that means more suckout but just once can I actually beat one of the morons.

Well I am back, well sort of. I have been playing some smaller stakes PLO ($50). I have had a really good 2 weeks. I haven't been putting in anywhere near the hour I was. Maybe 8-10 in the last 2 weeks. At one point I was up almost $800 . 16 buy ins in 10 hrs is pretty good. Then today was kind of like running into a brick wall. I knew I was going to have one of these days, I'm not complaining. I have been running so well, it had to come to an end at some point. Hand 1: ouch is pretty much all I can say. I'm like 96% after the flop.

Hand 2: Villian was a total donk and I was pretty sure I had the best hand on the flop, I really though he had nake KK or QQ. Against any other player I fold he flop, against this guy I knew I had the best hand and I did, though he did have a big draw.

oops, my bad. I read two pair 7's and 6's, I missed that he had 5's on the flop. This is why I rarely raise preflop. I have no idea how to play naked overpairs vs a donk. Maybe I should have folded, but this guys is such an donk, I had no idea what he was on, and I was getting better than 3:1 on my call.

I guess its good I have a big screen on my laptop otherwise I wouldnt have been able to read Kuso's comment. How am I up now 12.5 buy ins in 10 hrs. Well first off most of these players are total donks and always seem to be nice enough to pay me off when I have a monster and any time I dont have a huge hand, I fold. Playing so much NLHE where you dont make a monster for hours and hours has made me much more patient. I prety much sit back and wait for the donks to make a mistake.

Good example. I dont have the HH but this is how I won my last stack. I have double suited UTG. I limp utg flop is 543 with one club. BB leads pot, I decide to smooth call once and see if I can get some callers behind me and build the pot enough I can make a large raise on the turn. 3 players call, the SB check raises pot. BB calls. Ok fine now I can get all my money in, maybe even get a freeroll with my 4% backdoor flush draw or runner boat with my AA. I raise pot. SB pushs, BB folds. SB has J9A2 and is drawing dead on the flop. I wouldnt say I'm a great PLO player but when the donks keep paying me off with crap like this even a mediocre PLO player can win at a pretty good clip.
