Gut-shot + nut low draw with some protection. This isn't the part I love, in fact this is close to marginal.

Wow that was a total brick. There is almost nothing he could have bet on the flop that the K could have hit. Time to push him off whatever draw he was on.
I make this play 3-4 times a session and my success ratio is above 75%. It is one of the main reasons I can make a little money (or at least break even) without hitting any cards.
A couple of caveats
- I never make this play without a little bit of a read. Your opponent has to know how to fold.
- I never make this play at the $25 tables, see folding above.
- I only bet ½ the pot so I only need 1:3 success ratio
- I also value bet ½ pot on the river.
- I usually do this IP when checked to on the river (damn, now on Saturday everyone is going to CR me on the river )
