I've read several posters that don't like the way Party tables look and I tend to agree. All bright and cartoon like. Very distracting. Recently I've began playing at Absolute and I think their tables are even worse! There is "stuff" everywhere including big black chairs, tables with random crap on them, etc. I find it all very distracting, but what are you going to do?

Well...I was wasting time at work the other day when I came across two very excellent threads over at 2+2 that addressed these very issues. At first I was a little worried about messing around with it but it was really very easy and fast and turned my tables from the usual mess into these...







This is sooooo much better than before! Now when you put your PA Hud overlay on the table it's way easier to see. Plus, I seem to focus much better now. I imagine that you can probably do this on almost all online poker sites, but to me, these two are the biggest visual offenders out there.

For the layout I have above for Party, go to this link: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showf ... t=all&vc=1 and it's the 3rd post in the string by "mackem" with a link to his zip files. Save these files to your desktop, unzip, and then copy all the images and paste into Program Files\Party Poker\Images. Say yes to replace all.

For the layout I have above for Absolute, go to this link: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showf ... t=all&vc=1 and right click on the table you like and save then follow the instructions given by "Fernet". This took me about 5 minutes total to complete.

You should keep a copy of these saves files if you like them so that if/when future software upgrades overwrite your changes you can just copy paste again and not have to go back and try to find them out on the web again.

Which one are you interested in, Absolute or Party? I don't have the zip file anymore but I do have all the unzipped files on my computer. I can zip them and email them to you if you want. PM me with your email.

Leon, I sent you a private message about sending me the table layout files for Party Poker but if it is possible could you also send the files for Absolute.

And any instructions on where the files need to be placed would be helpful also.

For anyone that is interested I happened to find out that if you want more options for table layouts on Absolute Poker all you have to do is get on any table, put your pointer anywhere in the table and right click your mouse.

There is a option that will open for downloading skins. There must be between 75 and 100 different skins you are able to download and install.

They have different catagories, like Landscape, Schools, Table Patterns and some other options. They even allow you to make your own skins with a link to where you can download the necessary software to make this possible.

Hope this information can be used by someone or maybe everyone already knows about it.

Thanks for the pointers on the Absolute skin. There's something I just don't like about it.

Regarding Party, my favorite skin of the old Party network is the one for PokerNOW. It's got anime characters and superheroes, but the table is bright orange or yellow, so that could annoy some people I think
