I have had problems playing KK lately. Some days ago I was dealt KK at one table, misplayed it, and lost a $200 pot. In the next hand at my other table I was dealt KK. I tilted and lost a $250 pot with it.

Here is a hand I actually won but I really think I misplayed that one too.

$1/2 at Stars. I have $188. Dealt [Ks] in BB. UTG+1 (no real read but a decent player -$342) raises to $8. Folded to button (no read - $161) who reraises to $14. What do you do here and why? I called and UTG+1 called.

Interesting flop but I didn’t know what to do here. I check. Both opponents check.

Turn $41
[Ad][Kd][Jc]

I check again (I don’t know why), UTG+1 bets $20, button folds. I raise to $60. He quickly calls.

Turn $160
[Ad][Kd][Jc][3c]

I bet my remaining $114. UTG+1 thinks for a long time and then writes in the chat: “set of aces any good”. Another player at the table says no and he folds.
I thought I was valuebetting the best hand (I put him on JJ or AK) but instead it turned out that I was probably beat.

I know I made some big mistakes here but I don’t know what I should have done different.

I would not check that flop and turn. Its Way too dangerous of a board for that. Diamond and ur done. You basically were going to give them 2 free cards to hit a diamond, play more aggressive and lead out.

i don't necessarily disagree with play except for check on turn.......if oppenent was on AA's he would have called river bet and he would have bet strong on the flop.....i'm guessin 10's with a diamond hopin to suck out on river..........
