Being a card rack is fun, though I have come back to earth a little, though I think after that run it was coming. Getting hit in the head with the deck is nice from time to time. The donk was nice enough to double you up too, in between me check raising him everytime I made a hand.

Played paradise last night as I got home too late to play Martins as the site dies by about 8pm est every night due to europe sleeping. I still had $100 in bonus to earn off there from the SB bonus and my brother signing up so off I go to 4 plo50 tables.

The first 2.5 hours was terribly frustrating. In about 350 hands, I had seen 20% of flops total (including bb and sb) and won 2% of hand for -50 or so. I lost 40 on semi bluffs to calling stations who called with top pair that turned into top two and wouldn't fold. Bah.

However, then I started on a nice run and was up as much as $110 plust 40 in bonus. Not bad and I decided to quit. Final round, got in against a bunch of shorties with top set knowing I'm a favorite overall but not likely to win with how many cards i probably had to dodge and I didn't. That hand is below.

Some highlights of the evening:

Paradise Poker Pot-Limit Omaha High, $0.25 BB (10 handed)

River: ($8.50) [Qh] (8 players)

Final Pot: $8.50

I knew i had to dodge a diamond and the straight and a lower set was likely out there. The guy that won with the oesd was the first bettor and thought for a long time before he called. if so many people hadn't already called, he may have folded but the pot got too big. at least they were short.

ok, let me just say that Feb was the worst month ever for me. I'm not talking just poker, as that sucked too, but I'm just saying overall in all aspects of my life, Feb was the worst month in my month that I can remember. I'm glad its over and things are finally looking up.

The martins bonus is still the bane of my existence but I'm close enough now where I think I should be able to finish it and I think i'm finally adjusting my game well enough to do much better in play and at least avoid making a ton of stupid moves i've been doing for some reason.

Also, I've moved on to plo100 on stars. I have a healthy enough disregard for $100 that I can play without the money affect me (at least I hope). So far to say that its been going damn well is an understatement. I'm up about $750 in 4 hours of 3 tabling for 450 hands or so. I haven't done anything spectacular and I can remember 2 draws off the top of my head that I got lucky to hit but I don't feel I was chasing anything without odds. They were close but I don't think bad and if I didn't have the odds, I wasn't that far on the wrong side of the odds.

For those of you wanting to see these big hands I got paid off on, here ya go:

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha High, $0.50 BB (9 handed)

he had [Tc 6c Kh 8h]

Outcome: Hero wins $123.65.

this is a plo50 hand before i moved up. Yes i chased the hell out of this but I kept getting sucked in by the odds and got lucky to hit it on the river without it completing the bd flush draw. Also, he only had top two on the flop so I had a lot more outs than I thought. He wasn't happy.

Final Pot: $200.50

Results in white below:
he had [6h Tc 8d Js]

Outcome: Hero wins $200.50.

I did question this play whether I should have called the flop. An arguement for all 3 actions can be made IMO and confused, I called which kinda trapped me in the hand anymore but I often don't have a problem pushing this too and taking the risk.

Outcome: Hero wins $460.40.

The cold call scared the hell out of me and i'm lucky a blank hit the turn. Huge pot and he was drawing to a gutshot to beat me on the river. This guy was a maniac that lost over 6 buy ins in 200 hands.

Against the same maniac, different table. The flop min reraise by me was a mistake as I actually tried to call since our stacks were decently deep and I knew he would fire on the turn and I could make a lot more. The perfect turn card would have hit too so this was about a $100 msclick to me.

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha High, $1.00 BB (9 handed)

Same maniac again. I'll take my chances with top set and let the cards sort it out. Of course, a little luck helps.

I called the turn afraid I might be getting freerolled so i was looking for pot control. Not only didn't he have the straight, he didn't even have one of the flush draw. This was a nice gift.

So that's how things have been. It can't possibly stay like this but its nice to have to happen. I also have a couple posted in the omaha section that I won including top boat vs second boat. As bobby has said, lets make march my bitch.

I was bored and card dead and for some reason, I thought he was making a move on me and I had the miracle flush draw to save me. No, he had 89. Why do I think he was making a move? because i'm an idiot. I love other people because they often think i'm making a move on them when I rarely am and now I do the same thing.

He had a set of 9's. This time I just did it because i thought since he was the short stack, he has T9 at best and i have many outs. Even if I did have those outs, it was marginal. At least in these bad hands, i still have had 9 outs to win even when I screw up. Still, this is almost 100 that I should have saved.

Well, I do make moves on people every once in a while. I figured he didn't like the flush at all and I could use my image. The only people that seem to check with the flush like this play on martins, not stars.

This is what I wait the whole time for. Being card dead one session and up and down another leading to this. Feels good. They both basically had 34 for the OESD. I love getting all in with the nuts like this.

Finished the stars bonus, closer to the martins bonus and I will be starting the party bonus tonight or tomorrow. That's pretty much it for now.
