Wow, the last 64 or so days went by quickly.

Feeling pretty good about things.

Actually hit an essay answer that made me drop my pen, get up and leave my apartment. I went to my office, where there was a shindig in progress, and proceeded to explain this absurd concept that I had never heard of and could not beleve was on an actual bar question. Turned out that the partner whose office is next to mine litigated (and lost) the case in which AK adpoted this rule. Fun Fun Fun.

In Alaska, you can be found liable for the tort of Intentional Interference with a Potential Civil Suit by Spoiliation of Evidence. Yeah, I got the negligence burden shifting, but did not get the seperate intentional tort.

Anyway, 3 more days of max studying, then a half study, half relax day, then at it.

Good luck, man. With the ammount you've been studying I would be shocked if you didn't make it.

Looks like Alaska's bar exam is only 2 days long and has roughly a 70% pass rate. That sounds doable. Odds Jus passes the February 2006 Alaska bar examination- 99.9%. Just don't hit a moose or something on the way to the exam. And don't forget about the tort of intentional interference with a potential civil lawsuit by spoliation of evidence. Don't know how you missed that one.

Oh, and what kind of lawyer job do you have that you can play in a weekly HORSE tourney at 6pm unless you are still "stuck at the office"? At the firms where I worked it was unusual to leave before 6:30 and not uncommon to leave around 7:30-8. Do you have a 1500 hour requirement or something cush like that? Inquiring minds want to know.

Put some time in on the MPT today, I'm pretty confident about it because A) I read really frickin fast and B) it is the same kind of crap that I do at work, doing initial evals for files and researching law for client letters for the partners and such.

Anyway, feeling pretty good about this. I think I am going to spend the morning tomorrow knocking out a few more practice MPT's, then spend the afternoon doing a simulated MBE (that I did not get to today). Then spend the evening reviewing MBE questions and going over my leaks for the MBE. Then start general review of my outlines somtime tomorrow evening and on into monday morning/early afternoon.

Feelin good, but I do need to get to sleep earlier, I am in danger of getting into too much of a late night schedule. Even so, this is 1 test I am not too worried about being too tired for, just mentally fatigured for.

Wow, that was a quick 69 days since I started the journal.

I have officially completed my bar studying. I am going to run a few errands, figure out the parking situation for tomorrow and just try to relax and get in the right mindset. If I get back from getting breakfeast/snacks for the next few days, I may go for a walk in the park (if it is still light out).

Thank you all for your encouragment and support. It is very heartening to have such support and encouragment.

I will post some updates/recaps after the exam.
Tomorrow is 3 long essays and two MPT exams.

So, the natural question would be... If I commit a crime here, can you give me free representation, or do I have to commit a felony in Alaska (which, I was assume would involve penguin sodomy or blubber theft)...?
