Anyone find denying people pot odds to chase their flushes just gives away your hand.... Lets say im playing AK and the board comes Ad-5h-9h and I have no piece of the flush draw , now im just potbetting to deny flush chasers the correct odds. Pretty much announces my hand.

What stakes are this? At a lot of the lower levels, people just won't care, and will call you down with Qh 4h or A8 or weak holdings like that.

at the 6-10 dollar range sit n go`s. Depending on how im doing ill play between those two. Yea I do find that , it brings an interesting question about , do you even play when theres a flush out there , bet the flop with TPTK with people chasing draws or wait till a safe turn card ? All very interesting how you can play it with people consistently calling down with weak flush holdings.

And if the pot is high enough for you you have to bet them out.

Now if the pot is not big enough yet you might wanna take more risks and give them close to the odds ( as close as possible not cheap ) so if a non- flush card comes on the turn you like the pot much better.

As an aside to that, depending on your opponents you can act weak looking like you have missed the flush. So when you are facing a player who might bluff in a situation like this you wanna look weak and then come over the top.

It is very player depending but with 2 or more players in it you better take the pot down no matter what, and in the lower limits you often still get payed off.( actually I have seen it in the $109 often enough to say there are weak players all around ).
