fold - the reason you raise with aces or any other big pair pre flop is to isolate, which makes the hand stronger. Against 8 or 9 other hands, your aces are barely a favorite over any other hand. In fact, I believe suited connectors that have the most opportunity for straight draws or baby flushes would be the best cards in this situation. I forget which ones are the best, maybe 4 5 or J 10, something like that. J 10 might be good because it can make the bottom straight on broadway and the top of a 7 8 9 hand.

Instafold. Unless there is a split you are 100% to win $30 (with a chance at $50). Calling is 35% to win $50.

Go, EP! That's the best explanation offered. It's about the money, not about winning the pots. We often forget that in the heat of the moment, but good players are always looking for the most effective ways to win the most chips. Folding AA would not be that way.

It will get cracked more often than it wins, but you'll still win money in the long run since you are getting 5 to 1 what you put into it and you are not a 5 to one underdog, in a ring game situation.

In the first SNG situation I would fold since you are almost guaranteed the $30. If it were a ring game I would call every time.

In the second situation I would call, since folding does not guarantee you any money, also because folding would mean that you have very little chance of finishing first, so I think you would have a better hourly rate by calling too since you have a great chance of finishing first the times that you do win the hand.
