I played in yesterdays $20K MTT on Party, where I after three and a half hours had approximately amassed 140K in chips. The average at the time was 70-80K I believe. There was a bit over 2000 entrants, and only about 90 something people left. I was already ITM, but at this stage it was only about $25. Then this great thing happened, I lost connection to PP. This happens sometimes, and it quickly reconnects. This time I was left with a growing feeling of dread as nothing happened. I checked my connection, found that all other sites I tried worked fine with no lag. I restarted, tried and tried to reconnect but to no avail. When I finally managed to get back on about an hour later, $110 had been added to my bankroll and I had got placed 29th. The tourney only cost $11 but it felt like a big waste of time, that and I had a good chance at some real $$$. First was 4k something, second 3k and so on. And I had a really good game going. On the other hand, if I had played who knows? Maybe I would have gone out with my kings cracked by rockets and dropped out earlier. But I'll never know, and that is what aggravate me the most.
