Hi guys,

Been having a devil of a time ten-tabling on Party. My laptop's a little old, but even so ... I'm finding as of late I'm better off not using PT and GT+. The programs slow my computer down to a crawl, I miss tables, occaisional crashes, etc ...

I do use mulit-table helper, however, that's indespensible.

Kind of annoying to be flying blind, but it only takes one nut flush time out for ... unhappiness to set in.

Twice, and you head to the message boards for suggestions.

So two questions:

1) Is pokerAce significantly less taxing on a computer? I've found my drive running continuously while using GT+ and PT.

2) I've noticed Ace has a ton of stats available on a player. For me, I feel a lot of them might be wasted. Has anyone tried to actually deduce (for lack of a better word) what all these stats mean? I'm looking for specific hand ranges based on position and stats.

Ace won't do better...it's a RAM problem most likely with your laptop...hell, mine hates 5 tables on the PR network.

Yah, I figured that might be the prob also. I only have about 256K, maybe I'll swing by the computer store tomorrow and get a gig.

Incidentally, PR network was just brutal on my laptop. Even without PT, I struggled to maintain 8 tables. But, for the most part, only 6 could be played reliably.

(for those wondering, the network limits you to four or five tables ... but if you put yourself on waiting lists, you can play as many as your computer can handle)
