FH over FH and what to do...

Postby m9man » Tue Feb 22, 2005 4:38 pm

played some low limit B&M yesterday. the biggest starting i got all day was JJ, flop AJ7,x turn, 7 river. lost to AA.
we capped preflop and on the flop [so i was pretty sure he had AA] - he had just sat down at table though - so i had no read on him in general. now, i check called the turn, and raised once on the end when i made my FH - even though i was 75% sure he had AA... should i have check called on the end when i made my FH??

brutal any way u slice.

If you check-called the turn thinking he had AA, then logically you should check-call the river. Not much to be done about this hand though -- you definitely have to call down since you have no read on his general play.
