After some rather iffy experiments with this move, I think it's probably better to go with ds and 9 or better rather than 8 (doesn't change the percentages much but gives you a little stronger hand).

Also, as CB, it seems to work MUCH better to bet full pot or else just check-fold if the flop misses you completely.
