Since i've moved up to $20 SNG's, I've noticed some player strategies that I didn't notice really at $10 SNGs on Party.

In 3 of the last 4 SNGs, I've seen 1 player at the table that refuses to play after the flop. He only folds or goes all in preflop, no matter the stakes, blinds or pot. Therefore, he is often overbetting the pot in order to win a small one but if he gets called (until the final high level blinds) he often has a strong Ace or a pocket pair at worst. I've seen one of these win a tourney, come in 3rd and come in 5th (when his AT ran into my AA).

I'm not saying I want to use this method (I'm doing fine, thank you), but has anyone else noticed this and do you see these people actually finishing in the money often? Is it a legitament strategy for people that can't actually play postflop?

haven't seen such a pronounced playing style before, such an inability to play flops is staggering, are people that have learnt off the WPT and don't notice the high blind-stack ratios a lot of the shows have?

Who is it that talks about this type a play? TJ maybe? He says it works great until you run into aces. Then He mentions it again saying it is a good play everytime but the last time.

There was a guy who used it at the final table of one of the WPT events in season 1 or 2. Pretty sure he was a dentist, Cal Dykes or something. He made it to the final two without ever showing a hand.
