On this limited info, this decision is, in my view, almost too close to call. With 4 players left, you need to get ITM. But can you bext maximise your chances by taking a stab at a potential pot of 2800, and if succesful pretty much guarantee the money, or by walking away with your 900 intact?
As your opponent has shown he is too stubborn to throw his hand away despite all of the strength you have shown, is he really likely to throw it away at the river when he is getting about 7 to 1 on his call?
I think the size of the buy in is crucial to this question. They could have called you with nothing all the way at the micro levels, and are probably more likely to call you on the river here than at the higher levels (although you would also expect players at the higher levels to need a better hand to call in the first place, and be more aware of the pot odds they are getting).
I think I am checking and folding this, on the basis I am getting called and losing about 90% of the time. At least I will have 900 left to play with. However, chip stacks and the blinds and the way this guy has played so far could easily sway my decision the other way, and have me pushing all in.
