I think you should just be straight forward here and bet the turn because he could very well have something like J10 or another hand that you don't want to give a free card to. I might go for a checkraise if the flop was something like A82 and then the turn a 3 as he is alot more likely to have the Ace weaker kicker here and will bet it so you can raise him without too much concern but with that 10 or higher card out there I go ahead and bet the turn.

When you got three bet with the size of the pot (you're getting nearly 10 to 1 on your call) I think I would call and check call the river as well but not like it too much. If he is a decent player he probably wouldn't be calling a raise with 55 and would have likely reraised 1010 so I figure to have at least 3 outs and maybe more in a counterfeit job.
