Oh man, this is crazy !

the swings in poker are so sick, i lost over 1/4 my BR the last week and its driving me nuts.
Some of the hands i played are all in pre flop: JJ lost to 53s, KK lost to 99, AK lost to 78.

Then in the SnG's i lose almost every race, an A appears every time i got KK. Every time i have a session online i lose $200, and im playing okay( i cant play my best in these circumstances).

i have stayed relatively calm, because these runs have destroyed me in the past. Is there any kind of supernatural thing u can do to turn things around ? i need helpppp before the PC goes out the window.

You need to step away from the table for a short time. This is will clear your head before you burn thru your entire roll. Either forget poker exists or just read a good book on the subject. But most of all learn to take a deep breath while playing. I had a horrilble weekend playing live. Most of them were bad beats. I would be 4-1 favorite when the money hits the pot and lose to draws. I was able to walk away both days with my roll mostly intact even when I knew I could crush the table. It was the cards not me is my conclusion. I made 1 mistake that cost me a little. The rest of my money left due to that bitch LADY LUCK. I think she hates us all once in a while. Good luck and keep your head up and tell her to kiss your a**.

Losing 1/4 of your bankroll seems like a monster loss that would make most people lose alot of sleep.

However, if you play by most guidleines, you have 20 buy ins and lost 5 buy ins. Alot of people think a 5 buy in loss is nothing and happens all the time, therefore by definition you are in the middle of a completely normal situation that happens all the time and it shouldnt be bothering you at all.

Having said that.......I think the 20 buy in rule and the "losing 5 buy ins is nothing" type thinking, is completly bogus and i DO think you should be losing sleep over this situation.
