My net was down almost $300 on the limit tables because I played a little bit of PL (until I realized that my bonus wouldn't clear until I was about 87 years old that way) and was up on that. Outside of a couple of tiltiing-related chip spews, it was just suckouts and missed draws the whole time. Typical hand was something like, I raise in LP with A245ds, flop comes 239 with 2 of my A suit. Bet, bunch of calls, turn comes an offsuit Q, bet, bunch of calls, river is another Q and guy with 78QQ wins with quads.

I'm really not exaggerating that much. I (or anyone else) could just as easily have been up $400 in the same number of hands. It's painful, believe me.

I still can't believe the bad luck you get at UB. $2/$4 and $3/$6 limit O8 over there still is my best rate overall (Pokerstars still wasn't bad either).

It's not always that way on UB. When the calling stations don't hit it can be really profitable. I had a heater there last year where I was up something like $1200 in one month of just 2/4 with a smidgeon of 3/6 and 5/10. IIRC, I gave like 800 of it back the next month, with almost identical PTO stats (well, identical except for the net +/- of course).

I was on there playing $25PL last night and got my $8 starting stack up to $20 when I got all in on a flop of 45J with AA23 against a dimwits A3TK. Turn 9. River Q. When I throw something out in chat about how the site always bones the best hand the guy had the balls to call me a donk for 'overplaying my AA'.

But hey, I earned $1.75 in bonus at least.

I think I am gonna use the $25s at UB as my 'steam releasing' tables. This way I don't tap the Party aquarium but still get to vent it out.
