well here is a hand i played on empire 25 table
I really like to play double pairs connectors, don't know if ther's a specific name to this hand.
feel free to comment my play here because I was very surprised to see the LP player calling my raise on the end.
Converter does not work properly unfortunatly.

I don't think this hand is playable because you need a very specific flop for it to be good. I've learned that you lose a lot with low sets. Your hand only makes one nut straight, 2 low sets and 1 low flush. All those hands can get you in trouble so I would fold this hand in pretty much any situation.

As for your hand, you got pretty much as good of a flop as you can for this hand and you are only losing to 55, 99 and 22 so your aren't in bad shape. For every pot like this you win, you will lose a few others to higher boats or straights, imo.

there were an old 2+2 thread about connected double pairs that was quite interesting, but i'm not able to find it...
briefly it said that any connected double pairs were pretty good holding mainly because of the blocking effect you have on str8

I agree mine is very low and maybe shouldn't be played, but for 50 cents it's an easy folding hand if flop doesn't hit no ?

You certainly don't lose much by folding it. I play middle double touching pairs even if someone has raised (something lik TT99) and I usually raise double pairs in the broadway cards (KKQQ etc). 4433 is a bit weedy though, low sets can be a nightmare to play. 4433 is maybe very marginally playable in good position but in all honesty it should really be folded early on. You got very lucky here, even when you hit a great flop and a nice turn you can't be sure you're winning, but in the end you won a very tasty pot!

its not when you miss that i'm worried about, its when you hit a low set or the 2nd nut or 3rd nut straight that will cost you money. There are very few boards that I would feel comfortable playing that hand against.
