Hey cactus...
Don't do yourself down; the best reason for playing a single table are to observe the players and learn the game; to improve. That's not to say that that cannot be achieved at multitables too, perhaps to a lesser extent, but if you are personally more comfortable playing 1 or 2 tables, then you should do exactly that. Comfort and control are so important in poker, I think. I can't make a good argument why I don't play bigger games with my bankroll except... I am COMFORTABLE doing what I am doing, and I am happy with my progress. If you can say the same about your strategy, and you feel you are improving as a player at a faster rate playing single tables, and if that is your primary aim, then you are quite right not to multitable.
