I like this hand . obviously this would have been different if i had a real stack but i was trying to gamble a bit to get a stack of at least 10-15 that i could work with.

Hand 1, check/fold mode really. Hard to see a vaguely decent opponent calling on the flop and not having you scooped by the turn.

Hand 2, well it's not very good as you're almost certainly playing for half unless he was donking it up which, it just so happens, he was. Pot's not really big enough to get all in to chase 2nd nut low even with protection.

Hand 3 I don't think checking the turn's too bad. Probably got plenty of fold equity there mind you. If he has absolutely nothing you might still be able to force him out on the river, and you'd ideally not want to be raised if he has a straight (which, admittedly, is highly unlikely here). Fishing on the flop is fine. Raising turn is prob best but the way you played it wasn't too bad either.

Hand 4 errmmm why didn't you just rebuy? Or was it against the rules or something? Anyways, it's not a great hand PF (would prefer the ace to be suited) against significant heat but high only hands are pretty easy to play in O8 (hit it or forget it) and this falls into that category, so calling one raise is alright but if there's any danger of a raising war you need to wait for better. Flop plays itself pretty much, you may well be winning high unimproved if he has A plus low cards.

Hand 1 - bet half pot, fold to reraise.

Hand 2 - Bad play by TG, he has no fold equity with your stack size. Ok call for you with low draw tho. His raise is ok if it buys him the button and some free advertising.

Hand 3 - Nut flush draw with backdoor low draw is not fishing at all. Derk should bet that turn, or give up. Checking turn and calling river there isn't ideal IMO.

Hand 4 - Even with a real stack I call there. I'd reraise if it was a similar, but non-low situation (like let's say you have AKJ7 and the flop is QT4). You'd have extra outs in the nines and no chance of getting freerolled on the turn if a low is made. In this case it's iffy with 2 lows out already and only 9 outs. This was sorta early on so putting TG on AA is not out of the question, but the low draw is the killer there IMO. I'd call it but then probably fold if I miss the turn.

monk, the private plo8 table was only allowing $5 buy in for some reason but playing with blinds like it was $25 table so i couldn't rebuy which is why i was gambling.
