Well he might think his hand could possibly be good and he would like to see the action on the turn confirming his thoughts or maybe just taking the hand away "floating". Now the A comes on the turn and he thinks he's the one trapping right now, would he really be that bad if he would check raise you ICe?? He decides to keep slowplaying or doesn't want to commit a big chunk of his stack with TPTK. River is K and now he even beats all the 2 pair hands, Since he never raised he probably has zero clue where he is now and decides to make the (heroic) calldown.

The all-in call is absolutely terrible.

Once he gets to the river, I dont see how he can fold to the all in after rinner runnering top 2 pair. Im sure at that point he was 90% sure he was ahead. Im surprised he didnt push instead of check/calling. I wouldve checked behind with most hands I could have there, which makes his river play even worse.
