...Just won myself a seat into tomorrow afternoon's event. I've never played a tourney for this high a buy-in...wish me luck!

And if anyone wants to post a quick tip or two as to what I can expect it would be much appreciated!

Sure, it depends on how big you starting stacks are. What are your starting stacks and the sizes of the blinds? That really dictates your gameplay.

Well I'm a complete idiot - I went from a chip count of over 12,000 and an M of 21 to zero and out in one hand - I just didn't notice that four-straight on the board, did I? I mean come on, A-9 on a 9xxx board is the stone cold nuts, isn't it?? :oops:

At least I didn't shell out the entire $215 buy in - I think until I get better at MTT's (actually, that was just a horrible call on my part) satellite play it is.

Back to the grind. :roll:

I think the problem was that even if I folded, my M was still going to be 19 and I'd STILL be second in chips at the table !!
