If your point is that this flop bet can be problematic if you plan to bet the turn unimproved (without a good read), then I agree.

However my point is that I am leading the flop with this hand with virtually the same plan I would have with QJ.
Except my hand is better.

And I agree that the flop is important, which is exactly why I'm firing here to see if I can take it down.

Heres an example of what I mean:

I limp on the button with [9d] after a limper. SB folds, BB checks.
Pot $7 Flop [6d][4s]. Checked to me and I bet $6. BB calls and Im done with the hand. I take this pot down with that bet about 80% of the time.

Pot $19. Turn . OK, Im not done. He checks and I bet $12. If I had [4c] or [3h] or [6c], I would be afraid to bet the turn after getting called. I would rather bet with nothing than with something. This hand Im in position so its a bit different, but its similar to what Im trying to show.

In this hand he called my turn bet and called another $12 on the river and I won a decent pot. If I check the flop and bet the turn, I doubt hes going to call a because its obvious that I have a K.
