Your turn check is horrible. The board is already so coordinated that you don't need anyone to catch anything, someone could have a Q or a flush draw and call your bet, even better someone could slowplay trip 9 and raise your bet, someone even could have a straight. If they don't have a hand by turn there is almost nothing that they can catch and be ready to bet on such a dangerous board.
