I have this theory that Stars has a "lets give the bad players money day!" and last night was it

lets see

I had AA 5 times in 10 hands on two tables and lost $50

I lost AA to a preflop all in vs. QJ for $50
I lost Kings full to quad 9's and got slow rolled for my efforts
I lost KK all in preflop to 99 when he hit a 4 card straight
I lost a big pot with AJ to 44 on a AJ4 board (bad play on my part)
I lost a big stack trying to represent a set vs. a dude with an overpair. I check raised him on the turn on a board of 8 9 2 2 when I called a raise with 77 and called his CB then check raised him all-in on the turn, he of course couldn't lay down JJ, another terrible play on my part

actually all of my terrible plays don't really support my theory much since I should have been cleaning up!!!

anyway bad play, bad mistakes, bad luck means I lost about $250 for the night. I can't really complain after the weekend I had

I will just send Lee Jones an e-card apologizing and move on to tonight!

on non poker notes, my wife leaves for Iceland this weekend, giving me a week of bachelor life. Which means really nothing I just get to play more poker, and some live poker!

this week will be busy though for me so the poker will probably suffer until she heads out of town but maybe I cna get an hour or two in a night until she leaves, I hope
