A lasting impression (Advertising)

I've read a few things by lesser known pros talking about success with advertising but I never actually tried it. Never seemed worth it online due to the high turnover rate of players.

Anyway during a session recently I made a horrendous call on accident (An extremely rare misclick) that lead to me drawing to an unlikely open ended draw which hit, dragging a rather large pot against a set and an overpair.

For quite a while afterward, I was getting called down by any pair/ace high pretty much every pot ( even multiway pots when I bet into 3+ people) and ended a big winner. (Even if you subtract the pot I shouldn't have won at the start)

This was a 5/10 6 max table that stayed mostly the same for about 45 minutes.


Anyone have any experience with 'advertising'? Live play or online.
