AA UTG - too passive?

Get AA UTG, decide to limp. But get 4 more limpers behind me, sb calls, BB checks. Oops.

Flop 568, 2 diamonds. I dont have the Ad. Checks to me, I check. CO bets pot, sb calls. I fold.

Does any one put in a raise here to find out where you're at? I think I'm dead in the water.

I would lead out on the flop. But I dont mind your play at all.

Like Iceman I would probably have lead into the pot and see what happens but if I get raised I would probably fold, and if I get called I probably check the turn. As it is, I like your play too, scary flop for your AA. To many people cant let go of AA and it usually costs them a lot of money.

I think checking the flop is criminal. Mainly because with this many people someone will bet and you'll have no idea whether it's 2pr/set, TP, or a draw.

eh...

the flop is so cooridanted MG. Even if he does bet the flop...if he gets called he'll still have no idea what they hold.

there are better situations for AA then this.
