Hand 1 I don't mind the turn bet against an oppo who can fold (this card will've counterfeited a lot of his holdings too). I think I'd probably check the river but given he had a tiny amount of cash left I guess it doesn't matter.

Hand 2 I think you should consider check-raising the flop. Problem with leading out is that almost any turn other one that makes you a boat is, to a greater or lesser extent, a scary one.

first, i recommend that you stop building pots from OOP unless you can and want to get all of your money in via a CR (as monk suggested).

hand 1

yeah, check and evaluate with a plan to CR. you get to see who likes their hand and then can decide whether to flatcall or CR. don't CR tight players who only bet the nuts (e.g., a set or nut-nut draw here).

as played, betting out on the turn is fine IF villain can fold -- otherwise check and evaluate. you really don't want to show this down, because you're most likely to get half at most if you get called. once he calls the turn, you might want to check the river. if he has a janky hand that beats you both ways, he may check behind and you save yourself some money. unless you read villain as an uberdonk, i doubt you're really value betting this river (although you do have a two-way hand).

not sure why you led out here. CR flop if you want to gambool, but there's no way you can know where you stand with against a guy with those numbers. if villain has a draw, he can see the turn relatively cheaply with you OOP.
