I'm on a $10 table at UB with several friends that have played together regularly. The play had gotten pretty tight and somewhat passive as all are about equal in ability. Shortly after this hand we all went off fishing.

When the flop was checked around to me I chose to take the free card. I probably should have bet figuring my pair was good. When I hit my set I wonder if a smaller bet would have induced a call. I chose to BTP to drive out any flush draws. Any ideas on how I might have milked this for more money? Lately I have been playing aggressively when I hit and think I am probably losing some money on hands like this.

Thanks Jav for the feedback. It just seems like I don't win a big pot very often. That makes building my bankroll back up very slow. I guess I just have to be patient. It is coming back up so I can't complain.
