2 difficult hands ($50NL 6-max)

not much action so far. been at the table 10 minutes. i get [Ah] in the BB. UTG raises to $1.50 with $75 behind. UTG+1 calls, also with $75 behind. i think about reraising but the small raise and 150bb stacks make it awkward. and from what i can tell, PF raiser = multitabler and not a donk. so i call and plan to play this one cautiously.

i check. UTG bets $3. UTG+1 folds. i call.

turn:
pot: $10.50

i bet $8. UTG calls.

river:
pot: $26.50

i bet $17. thoughts?



hand 2...different table.

UTG donk raises to $2. i pop it to $7 OTB with [Kh]. BB cold-calls my RR. UTG raiser folds. BB has $200 and i have $120. doesn't seem to be awful. one read i've picked up is that he likes to lead into the PF raiser on the flop for 2/3-3/4 pot with a weak hand. i haven't seen him in a reraised pot yet, though, and im sure his cold-call of the RR tightens his range significantly.

he leads for $5. i make it $15. he calls

turn:
pot: $46

he leads for $10. i am thoroughly confused. i call.

river:
pot: $66

he insta-bets $25. i close my eyes and call. thoughts?

hand 2 is probably the most difficult hand i've yet played @ Tribeca. all feedback is appreciated. thanks,

Hand 1.

I dont find this one particulary difficult. I am OK with the way you played itbut at some point I would have made that pot bigger, maybe by check-raising the flop. I think this is a dream flop for you. And turn and river are good too. I think I would have bet the river a little more and I'm definetely going broke with this one. I am paying TT if he has it, although I dont see that as a likely hand.

Hand 2.

The fact that you have a read and he was betting really smallish makes this one anot so difficult one.

I would have raised that turn bet to at least $35 and play from there, probably folding to a push. I understand the line you took, but I dnt knowwhy you felt so scared on turn. I would have played it like that only if he had reraised me PF, because I would be scared of AA, specially now that I get KK vs. AA every single day.

Hand 1) I want to reraise pf or at least raise the flop.

Hand 2) On a monotone board, I prefer to float that weak lead bet than raise it. He either had a flush or not so raising doesn't accomplish too much without the K[s]. Then on the turn, he'll usually lead weak again and you can raise there

Hand 2 is fine. On the turn and river, you don't want to escalate the pot with just a pair. But you also can't fold.

I suppose you could raise the turn to try to buy a check behind on the river. But with a guy who weak leads the flop with a weak hand, I think you're ahead enough of the time to let him keep betting into you. I'm going to guess AQ with the .
