Full ring table but we're down to HU. The other guy is pretty good. Better than I am, I think, at HU. But I need the practice. It was probably -EV to be playing.

Anyway, before the hand I'm down to $30 and am not reloading because, well, I don't want to lose track of how much I'm losing. He took a bunch off me by raising my flop bet with a flush draw and then betting more when it hit, against my top 2. I should have shoved the flop oh well. Anyway, he covers.

Flop has a 9 and a club, not sure what else. He checks, I bet, he calls.
Turn . Nice card, I have a pair and a flush draw. He checks, I bet, he CRs, I push. I thank Xaston for this push, by the way. He thinks and thinks and thinks and thinks and calls.
River is a 7 and he turns over J8 for the runner-runner gutshot. Unreal.

His Js weren't live, his 8s weren't live, and only 3 of his 7s were live. 3 outs. Butthead.

EDIT: I guess he had Qs to beat me too, so 6 outs. Still irritating.
