Grrr. It seems like everybody wants to push all the time. And you guys make me feel like a wuss for wanting to call. But damn it I was right. Maybe that's results oriented but from that raise I knew he had the flush.

At the games I play, that big raise = the made big hand almost all the time. At 6-max you probably get people raising to steal it a bunch, but not at full ring. Of course I'm playing $50 rather than $200 NL....

Also, if MP1 is very loose he's way more likely to have any two spades than he is to have precisely Ax here. And if MP has the flush and UTG has Ax then yes, you do want UTG in there drawing cheaply, because you need him in the hand to get the odds to chase your boat.
