$350 NL live cash game - Indian Casino...What would YOU do?

bb is $5...max buy in $350...

Villian has LOTS of chips, probably $1000 (on and off talking on his cell phone during the game....money didn't seem to matter to him), hero has $150 left,getting nothing for an hour,
and playing TIGHT, as i'm sure, maybe, everyone knows it...have entered in about 2 times...once i raised on the button with AQ, bb min raises me, and villian who had limped, reraises THAT....i folded...bb called, flop came 4,J,8 rainbow...villian bet 100, bb reraised $150 all in for him, villian called...turn and river no help to either....villian had AA, bb, ugh had 44 and took the pot.

several hands later....My hand...villian still has close to $800, i have $135...and get A5 diamonds on the CO...i raise it 3x...villian calls, one other guy calls...
flop comes:

Kd, 6c, 8d....i have nut flush draw, and want to see where i am...both in front of me check 'rather quickly'
I bet out $20....they call, call.

turn comes Ah....pot is about $110... they check, check....

what would YOU do here? top pair, nut flush draw with one to come, you have $101 left.



















i shoved it all in quickly....
villian calls....other guy folds...what did the villian have?

I don't really care what villain has, becuase I'm pushing that all day long. Judging by his previous play you have every reason to believe you are ahead here, but I'm guessing you aren't. I say he has A8 and you don't improve and lose the pot. Either that or he is a huge donkey with AA.

Results don't really matter. However, bet the flop like a man. 20 into ~50 is no good. Bet atleast 35.

I didn't think a 3xBB raise pre flop does anything in a live game according to everyones reports?

If you're gonna raise it, make 2 pair and nut FD on the turn and be able to go all in at that point for a pot sized bet then I don't see any issue at the turn. If he has a set A6 or A8 then so be it but I'd expect him to try and protect against the flush draw at that point.

Noted both of you...this game, except for 2 Lags, was tight...3x bb raises scared all but a couple out i'd been noticing...and a $20 bet at the pot usually scared all but a few out too...normally i WOULD bet 4x pre flop or 2/3 pot, but this table was different.
