Making moves, i.e. raising turn with a draw, 200NL, 6max

As I started to open with a wide range I feel that I need to pull some moves on opponents, or I will spend too much money when I miss the flops. One of them is betting turn big with a draw, as an example I will post a hand.

What you guys think about this? What are the best condition to do it?

Opponent in the hand is NOT a calling station.
CO has 110, I cover.

Preflop: I raise UTG+1, to 7, CO is the only caller,
Flop (pot 15) :
I bet 12, CO calls.
Turn (pot 39):
I check, CO bets 24, I CR AI.

There were other hands like this with various degree of succes. The good outcome of plays like this is that a lot of people a ready to go to the felt with TP type hand (sometimes even a middle pair) so a payoff on big hands is good.

Not keen on the example you quoted. If youve been opening with a wide range, hes not a calling station he could well have been bidding his time to pick up a premium hand you could be running into a monster.

To use the play effectively you'd have to be certain the opponent is capable of laying down a premium hand. if he'll call you down with TPTK or even TP I think you'll lose out in the long run.

If youve been overly aggressive as you stated raising with a wide range etc I also think you could be looking for trouble. your opponents would soon get annoyed with you and maybe willing to call you with more marginal hands meaning you have to hit your draw to win.

I don't like it because you have no FE, he is pretty short, and he is probably feeling pot stuck and if he has a Q this is a super ez call for him because it is about $65 more for him to call off....unless he is like REAL WT or you make him fold A9 I guess. If he was deeper I like.

edit: also I'm sure you know this but you aren't that good of a % to hit with 1 card to come... I think this should be saved for flops rather than turns unless you are drawing to the nuts or its real huge/disguised. Adding the fact of you being behind to alot of hands that call here which I also feel almost apathetic (looking for better word) short players (from my experience; basically get stuck in a meduim/large pot, little behind, they just shove it in, without any thought) having very little FE I dislike a good deal.
