Me no likey. Name one possibly holding of his which you beat. The best you can hope for is something like but it's far more likely he has the 7 through some form of SCs or a small overpair. He may fold the overpair, but even so, there are others in the pot left to act. There are tonnes of better places to get your money in so just fold this one and wait for a more profitable spot.

Your play would've been better if he was raising preflop, could've assumed he missed his AX. On that flop, he could have any piece of that, even a slowplayed PP like 88-99 or a good draw, not forgeting the 7. He bets pot, so he has the 7 and don't wants someone on a draw. He can't have there anything else than 7 fl draw 55 or another PP.


Hmm, he was in very ealry position, so his range of hands is huge. I would've folded instantly. No point getting involved in this kind of pots, where u have no info on his holdings.

The guy has an AF of 3.2. So basically he's either betting of folding the vast majority of the time.

The best way to play this type of player is just to bet everytime he checks. You'll gain much more EV than trying to push him off a hand.
