Electronic card shuffler, waste of money?

Hello

I played poker last friday with friends. The little bit sad thing was that every time a round was over, the shuffling took some people ways longer than the playing round.

I was wondering if a card shuffling machine would be usefull there. What I heard is that most are ways!!! too loud to use. Is there a silent version?

I thought that several card decks would actually be enough, if you start to shuffle one of the decks that were used last round after you fold, next round could start with this deck immediatly.

Any different tips?

We always found that having two decks, so that one was always ready when the next hand was going to start, was the best option.

You're gonna need to either a) have very trustworthy friends or b) always cut the cards.

I was about to suggest the 2 deck system...the auto shuffler is also a two deck system, but it does it all itself. Hey, if you have the money to blow 7000 on a deckmate (or however much they go for now), GO FOR IT! Other than that, I wouldn't trust an auto shuffler.
