I really don't like limping with ATo. That's exactly the type of hand that seems like will always make a pretty 2nd best hand when there's a big pot.
I'd go raise>fold>call preflop, mainly because CB's take it down so incredibly often.
Postflop no real problem with either line.

I found that AT is one of my biggest trouble hands that is why I limped.
Trod, People play two pair out of the blinds the exact same way I think. If he has a set so be it but if he has A8/A2...also like roy said if he infact has A8/A2 he probably isn't folding.
And I didn't win the river was an 8.

I don't mind limping here behind other limpers especially if the table is fairly loose and will call a lot of raises after limping. I'd really rather not play a big pot after the flop with ATo, its just trouble.
