OK, thanks for all the replies. I had
. MP took a very long and time folded. So I got away with it but I was left unsure about whether the play was any good or if I just got lucky.
I considered raising the flop but I didn't want the pot to get too big too soon and I didn't want to get re-raised off the draw. So I took the cheap card. Would most of you raise the flop to see the river for free?
I wasn't worried about the PFR and when MP bet $18 into the $90 pot, I figured he had JJ or something really donkish like A9. Obviously flush draw was possible too. I did have both the
and
though, so I wasn't up against a 15-outter that would probably insta-call my raise.
Anyway, do you think MP folds often enough for this to work? How would you play it?
(After the hand he said he folded JJ).
