Another QQ flop question ($100 NL FR)

$100 NL Ongame FR

I get QQ UTG+2. UTG limps, UTG+1 limps so I pop it to $6. Folds around and they both call.

Pot $19.50, flop A33 rainbow. UTG checks, UTG+1 leads $5.

I have no read on UTG+1. Never seen him before, hasn't done much. Both of us are pretty close to a full stack.

Ongame fishies seem to love Ax hands versus raises. AK AQ AJ AT are totally possible. I think a 3 is less likely of course, but who knows?

Would JJ/TT/99 lead like this??

I raise this just about 90% of the time.

Will he fold a weak ace there? Probably not, but I guarantee you'll get to showdown cheaply if you raise that flop. Say he has A5. I raise, and its checked down from there. So worst case, is I'm out my raise amount most of the time.

However, if I just call, what now when he bets at me on the turn and river. You'll pay off a weak ace alot. What do I do if he gets frisky with TT and pops the turn. What do I do if I call, and the guy left to act cold calls the flop and raises my turn call too? Ugh!

I'd rather raise now, and blow small guys out of this pot and take it now or prevent myself from getting bluffed later on or from turning into a CS and paying off more than the amount I would have used to raise the pot on the flop.

Also, if you raise that flop with QQ and he has a weak Ace and he doesn't fold, I'll be doing the same thing later when I have AK and I'll stack him instead of just winning a nice pot because he'll say, "last time he had QQ, so my A is good."

If you raise this I assume you're doing it as a bluff and will raise a QKs as well correct?

Personally I fold this. I'd be more open to calling if there wasn't a person behind me to act. As for him checking the turn, that's a possiblitiy but I think you'll see another weak lead more often than not on the turn and river and then see him flip over AX (hell maybe even A3). If you want to raise a weak turn bet, then as I said you're bluffing so the fact that you have QQ doesn't matter anyways.

I really just don't see a 77/88 "probing" for value here.

Well, I raised. Other guy folded, he reraised and I had to fold. I felt like I threw away $15.

But it's good to see this hand is a puzzle for other people too....
