Almost Afraid to share this

Postby BKAZ » Tue Jan 11, 2005 9:10 am

I have been using PT for about 2 months to track my progress and help improve my game. 2 weeks ago I downloaded and started playing using GT+.

Most of my work has been on getting my aggression up but see my results below:

All time $1/$2

Hands 12,780
VP$IP 11.64%
Went to SD 30.5%
Won at SD 54.8%
PF Raise 5.5%
Aggression Factor 2.64
BB/100 1.78

Last few days with GT+ giving me good reads based on your guides.

Hands 780
VP$IP 12.56%
Went to SD 29%
Won at SD 64%
PF Raise 10.6%
Aggression Factor 5.5
BB/100 8.9

I know this is a very limited sample, only 780 hands but I feel like the lights just came on. I have always had a tight game but my GT+ reads allow me to fold with confidence and become very aggressive to isolate and punish the loose players and calling stations. I have been beat up by a sLPA player who slowed played a couple strong hands.

Hope too many players don't start using GT+. LOL

Would be interested in anyones feedback on my stats and advice on improving my play.

Thanks!!!
BK

excession,

Imo, u are the foremost authority on the use, care, and feeding of poker tracker.
So if u think u are writing "trash" so be it. I will be the first one jumping into the dumpster looking for it. :D

THANKS for all of your work!

I echo all the sentiments on the greatness of your PT articles. I'd really love an installment on how to spot leaks in your game. Looks like its ahead in the voting right now. It would be a great addition to what you've covered so far.

Only have been using PT for a week. I for the most part only play tournaments, some S/G, but mostly MTT. I admit to struggling with PT and trying to find how it is going to benefit me with tournament play.
Lots of information, but tournament play is so different and a lot of luck involved.
If anyone can shed some light in how a tournament player can get more from PT it would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, you have a great website, and thanks.
